Shri T. H. Suresh Babu, a prominent political figure from the Kampli Assembly Constituency in Ballari district, is a shining legacy of his father, Late T. H. Babu. Born and brought up in Ballari city, his life is a remarkable blend of achievement and struggle.
Education
Suresh Babu completed his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Vijayanagara Engineering College, Ballari, in 2005. With a technical background, he developed a strong inclination towards social service and politics even before completing his graduation.
Political Journey — Two-Time MLA
Suresh Babu has the distinction of being elected as an MLA twice. He has served as a public representative from the Kampli constituency through different political platforms, including the BSR Congress Party (BSRCP). Contesting elections through both BJP and BSRCP, he has faced victories and defeats with equal composure and dignity.
2018 and 2023 — Resilience in Defeat
In the 2023 elections, he contested as a BJP candidate and secured 76,333 votes but lost to Congress candidate J. N. Ganesh by a margin of 24,091 votes. Despite this, his public support has remained strong and unwavering.
